Creamy Chickēn & Broccoli Divan Cassērole








ingredients

  • 14-ounce packages of frozen broccoli florets, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked chicken or turkey
  • 2 cans (10.5 ounces) Cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise 0r miracle whip or Greek y0gurt
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz biscuits
  • 1/2 cup strong cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 * F
  2. Place the thawed broccoli florets in the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
  3. Garnish with diced chicken or turkey.
  4. In a small bowl, combine chicken cream, milk, mayonnaise, and lemon juice - see notes if you add rice or curry powder.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
  6. In the same bowl, combine the crumbs of crackers, cheese, and melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the mixture of crackers on the casserole.
  8. Cook uncovered for 35 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
